My brood would be just over 6, 5 1/2, turning 5 this month, turning 4 this month, just over 3, just over 2, and 14 months. It’s easy to follow their trajectories since, for every single one, I have a friend whose child is just exactly that age and she posts milestone photos on FB.
Am very moved by this. Thank you for posting it. I actually couldn’t easily say for my 6 lost little lights. I would have to look up dates and do math. For whatever reason I didn’t think about this when I was losing them—I think most likely because it was too painful to think of in this way. I do remember that the 6th was lost on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, and that I had to hide from the adorable Halloween costumes that soon followed. Universal powers that be, please help our grieving mamas endure the unendurable.
