I can’t thank you all enough for your support! Seriously, I’ve been losing it, and y’all have been beyond amazing. Thank you thank you thank. Thank you for pulling me through. As much as family and friends offer love and support no one really knows what it’s like to be in these situations, and how difficult it is – how difficult the whole infertility thing can be. And you guys get it. Your opinions and support are invaluable to me.
When the Doctor called and told me the new number and said he was totally baffled by the second beta. I asked him what it could be and he said he had no idea but that everything looked great and I shouldn’t worry. He said I don’t need another beta, and I go in for an ultrasound after I get back from my conference.
What do you guys think? Lab error? Something went wrong and corrected itself? Vanishing twin? Here are the betas –
- 8 AM 9dp5dt – 586
- 8 AM 11dp5dt – 697 (doubling time 191 hours)
- 8 AM 13dp5dt – 3372 (doubling time 19 hors)
Well, whatever the reason – I’ll take it!
See, we told you. Congratulations!!!
Also, the reason will be clear during the ultrasound. 🙂 anyways, enjoy!!!
Yahhhhhh! I have never been so happy to say: I told you so, I told you so! (: (: (: Joy and hope and happiness, yeeeha! Tears of joy over here. Holding your hand.
Such relief! I’m so pleased for you! Yay! xx
Yay! Excellent news. Can’t wait to hear ultrasound results.
Nice! I was watching for this post! Maybe lab error? Who cares!
yeah, yeah, yeah!!! I have no idea how the numbers could change like that. It seems more like a lab error but really I have no suggestions other than to offer more congratulations for your great beta!!!
So exciting! And so bizarre! Did all the tests get sent to the same lab? If the second was a different lab that could explain it. I am so sorry you had to go on this up and down journey! The number now is amazing!
Yahoo! What an amazing result… I’m so relieved for you.
Now you can relax and have a very Merry Xmas. But because you won’t be able to drink… I’ll very kindly drink your share for you. I’m good like that 🙂 xxx
Great news!!
Fantastic news! What a relief! Can’t wait to hear how the u/s goes!
Woo HOOOOOO!!!
This is such wonderful news!!!! Congratulations!
As for the strange betas…my money is on some sort of human error. I have to wonder if that second number accidentally had a ‘1’ dropped from the beginning of it.
YAY! Was so worried for you…not anymore! Can’t wait to hear about the ultrasound. My vote goes for lab error as well.
Sounds more like twin-on-a-coffee-break during beta #2 than vanishing twin. Either way, hooray! I’m about to have my own donor egg cycle in January, so cheering for yours from afar.
Thank you – and best of luck with your cycle! I have my fingers crossed for you!
AAAGGGGHHHHHH! That is incredible news! I am so thrilled. I’m going with lab error. It happens, friend. It really does. And it MUST’VE, because holy cow. That doubling time in insane in the membrane.
Brilliant! Now relax and enjoy a little!!!! Xxxxx
Congratulations!!!!!!!!
Congrats! Really great news. But strange with the numbers, maybe it was just a lab error, that would explain a lot.
